(October 8th, 2008) -- Tyler always enjoys racing at USA International this would be Tyler’s first time to run JICA at the facility. Friday practice went well for Tyler learning different driving technics and all new setup for this track running in the top 5 to 15 on speed range in every session.

Saturday preparing for qualifying we made a few changes to the chassis and Tyler qualified 11 th which was close to his top 10 goal for the year. Heat # 1 Tyler finished 14 th and Heat #2 finished 17 th after some contact that set him back numerouse spots in this heat. But Tyler learned some things during Saturdays events that would benefit him on Sunday for the finals.

Sunday morning practice Tyler wanted to experiment with motor and axel changes that he was not happy with. Tyler felt more comfortable with the setup from the day before so we were in a hurry to change it all back befor the 3 rd heat. Heat 3 Tyler made some great decisions and some great moves to finish 7 th . After all of the heat race point totals were accumulated Tyler would start 11 on the grid for both finals. Final #1 Tyler drove really well all the way to the last turn of the last lap to finish 5 th. Final #2 Tyler was moving his way through the field poised to have another good finish but after contact from another kart Tyler would get a wheel off track that would cost his several spots in the running order to finish 15 th. Even though the finish was not what he was expecting he was comfortable with the speed that he showed during the weekend. Tylers next race will be Norway Ill. at Concept Haulers Speedway.
