(October 8th, 2008) -- New Castle has been pretty good to Tyler over the past few years and Tyler was looking forward to this years event in JICA. Practice day went well for Tyler with top 15 on the speed charts knowing he was making huge gains in the experience dept. with driving and chassis feedback/tuning. We figured a few things out about our Woltjer engines that we have been leaving a little on the table. And Tyler was looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

Saturday qualifying went ok for Tyler with a little disappointment as he qualified 13 th. No drafting help at this track was definetly a disadvantage as Tyler was hung out by himself in his qual. Session. Heat 1 moving up during this heat from his 13 th starting position Tyler was running 6 th. To all of our disappointment another compeditor make a very aggressive move in tur 2 with 3 laps to go and took Tyler off track to finish his great race early with a dnf. Heat 2 Tyler showed once again that he could make his way toward the front to finish this heat in the 9 th position. Tyler was really looking forward to Sundays finals.

Sunday Tyler started from the 26 th position after his point average from the heat races the day before. Starting from so far back Tyler ran a great race and ran on pace with the lead pack after clearing some of the traffic to finish 15 th in each if the finals for Sunday. Not satisfied with the results but Tyler was very happy with the performance and knowledge gained this weekend and looking forward to his next event the WKA. National Championship in Douseman Wi.
