(October 25th, 2006) -- Tyler had another successful weekend at the Garnett Sprint Track for the last race of the year at this venue. This race was scheduled at night for the first time, everyone needed to be on their game as no one has had any night racing experience at this track in the cool damp temps. It is hard enough to get a hold of a set up even at daytime summer temps. Tyler ran only 1 class this weekend, JR 1 Medium. All through practice Tyler seemed to be 3 to 5 tenths quicker than the rest of the competition in his class.

Tyler set the pace in qualifying by setting fast time and finishing 1st in the prefinal. The final was just a repeat of the previous races with Tyler setting a very fast pace and he would go on to finish 1st with a very commanding lead by the end of the final with lapped traffic giving Tyler a few tense moments on the last lap. Tyler was patiently aggressive not knowing how far he was ahead of the second place driver, Tyler made some awesome passes with the 2 lapped karts on the last turn of the last lap and never touched a wheel to safely take the win and put himself one step closer to the season championship and the VEGA CUP!!
