(August 11th, 2006) -- It is finally here the final round of the Stars of Karting at Shawano, WI. What a beautifully facility if you were going to build a track this track would be a great model to go by. The staff at this facility were all first class and very friendly and the brats were unbelievable. Tyler's first comments about this track was Awesome!!! It is like riding a kart on a roller coaster.

Friday's practice was pretty normal for him getting dialed in on another new track that he has never been to and he was in the top 10 or 12 on the speed charts for most of the day and we were pretty happy with that.

Saturday the first day of racing Tyler timed in 12th, finished the pre final in 8th, and finished the final in 10th place with a last lap battle with the reigning national champion Sage Karam.

Sunday the second day of racing was in wet conditions for the first practice. The second practice was back to dry conditions and with some additional testing that we were trying we were down to 21st on the speed charts before qualifying. We changed back to a similar setup from the day before for qualifying. Tyler timed in 9th, finished the pre final in 8th position, and finished the final in the 7th position. Tyler ran with the lead pack most all of the weekend and that is a first. Tyler has been improving every time that he runs the Stars Series and he is looking forward to next year to try to make a run for the points championship. We are planning on making the trip to Canada for the final.
